I am a Netherlands-based product designer who always starts her design journey with a sharp sense of noticing. I take notice, then I elevate the user’s experience by taking away the obstacles along the way or repaving the journey entirely. Born and bred in Shanghai, China, I have taken a piece of it with me and travelled across continents to Europe for my studies and work since 2017. France, England, and the Netherlands are places where I’ve all properly lived and loved. I don’t see myself as an expat, but rather as an experiencer who is constantly empowered by new experiences and understanding of the culture of the land where I reside. Another thing that makes me live so at ease in a vastly different continent from my own is my passion for languages. I speak French, English and Mandarin(my native tongue) fluently. I can handle friendly banter in Spanish and Dutch after a sip of something as well! Wherever I go, I can talk to people and have a good laugh!
